ASEAN MUSIC SHOWCASE FESTIVAL 2020
SGMUSO partnered up with ASEAN Music Showcase Festival (AMS) for their Singapore Artist Showcase. This festival was a virtual music showcase that featured 20 up-and-coming, genre-bending and defying artists from 5 ASEAN countries, each of the participating countries showcasing 4 artists. Having acts from Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore and Thailand live streamed across the world.
2020 was the year the Covid-19 pandemic broke out, which virtually halted all live music events. It was devastating, but it gave AMS the inspiration and the aspiration to create something meaningful to keep their spirits up and look forward to better days that lie ahead in the horizon.
The festival was made to showcase the artists talents to delegates, music professionals and music fans from all over the world via online channels.
